Chief Executive Officer Job Posting
The Montana Regional Multiple Listing Service (MRMLS) seeks a full-time Chief Executive Officer. Covering Western and Central Montana, the MRMLS provides the most up-to-date, accurate and complete information on regional real estate offerings, streamlines and simplifies interactions with clients and real estate professionals, and meets the demands of clients wanting greater exposure to real estate information throughout the state.
The position offers a unique opportunity to create and manage the operations of the MRMLS including establishing our presence in the community, hiring employees, and formulating policies and operations with the support of the Board of Governors. The position involves a variety of dynamic and challenging responsibilities including:
- Updating agreements and establishing policies and procedures.
- Overseeing hardware and software installation, upgrades and maintenance.
- Hiring and supervising staff.
- Promoting the MRMLS.
- Supporting the Board and committees.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans.
- Overseeing and administering subscriber service and training.
- Representing MRMLS at real estate industry conferences and meetings.
- Administering budget, staff, policies, and facilities.
The position requires knowledge of program management, business administration, information technology, policy development and administration, outreach, public relations, financial management, and supervision. Requires education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, management, or a related field and previous association or program management experience.
The salary is $70,000 to $90,000 per year depending on qualifications and experience. The MRMLS is committed to continuing education and professional development for its employees, and provides flexible working hours and a generous benefit package including:

MRMLS is currently entirely remote, with no physical office space. Must live in Montana with a preference of Missoula, Kalispell, Helena, or Great Falls but will consider other locations depending on the candidate’s qualifications.
